The 2010 Nissan Pathfinder comes with a 4.0-liter V6 engine that contributes to its refinement and has a tow rating of up to 6,000 pounds. The words "sport utility vehicle" don't engender the same thoughts that they might have a few years ago in the auto world.Yet auto reviewer Scott Wasser found his time with the 2010 Nissan Pathfinder entirely worthwhile.
"The Pathfinder is a smooth operator, delivering a cushy and quiet ride around town and on the highway," he writes in his latest review. "Calling it a truck belies the refinement imparted by its welcoming and roomy cabin."
Wasser liked the comfort, cargo room and commanding view of the road. He wasn't too keen on the third-row seating and gas mileage -- 14 mpg city/20 mpg highway for the 4.0-liter, V6 engine.
Pathfinder is available in S, SE and LE and LE V8 trim levels with rear- or four-wheel drive. Starting prices range from $27,440 for a two-wheel drive S model to $42,160 for a 4X4 V8.Read Wasser's complete report here: Pathfinder scratches SUV itch
